I'm 13 years, and I blow my candles out March 28th. Music saved my life this year; without it, I's probably be in a semi-vegetative state, like a lot of the American teenage population. I'm not exactly proud to say that I used to be a Top 100 preteen who had *flinch* mad love for mass-marketed Disney crap [i.e., High School Musical, Hilary Duff, etc. But NEVER Hannah Montana. ew.] But I saw the light [well, more like ramen] at the end of the tunnel. Also known as Fueled By Ramen? Yeah. synonym for amazingness. But it annoys me when people only listen to FBR because there are so many other great bands out there. Speaking of bands, I've always wanted to be in one. I don't play anything [instruments, sports, people's hearts, that good stuff. lol.] but I really really really want to learn how to play the keytar, because Vicky-T is kindasorta my idol. Well, not idol, but she's pretty awesome. And she directs. So mainly [for now] I sing. And write lyrics that I will never show to anyone because I'm pretty sure they suck horribly.
I'm also a member of the imaginary society FA. [fanfics anonymous] I have an absolute [closet] addiction to fanfiction. And I love reviewing the stuff. I actually lurked around on Buzznet for about 6 months before I finally caved and got one. And I have a bunch of favorite fanfictions. But I'm embarassed to say what because I feel stalker-like [see whole lurking on buzznet thing. lol.].
People who say music is theirr anti-drug annoy me. For me, music IS my drug. I mean, I go into withdrawal without it. I get hooked. That isn't an anti-drug, last I checked, right? Of course, I never really pay attention in health anyway. And my friends are my life, i love them all. I have an extremely low tolerance level for drama. [Not theatre drama. More like hormonal teenager drama. Since I act, that would make no sense.] i hate math. :) And i love to read. TO THE POINT OF INSANITYYYYY. I also like big words, just because they confuse the shit out of people. You know, entertainment value. And I'm a spelling nazi, unless it's my spelling. [And THAT, boys and girls, is called hypocrisy. Learn it, love it.] My iPod is my best friend (Sorry, best friends that are actually PEOPLE. I ♥ you too! haha.) and I am a TAI TV-fanatic. Guy Ripley/ Jack the Camera Guy/ Vicky-T to a major extent are my heroes. As is Noodle from Gorillaz. I'm addicted to podcasts- like TAI TV (I ♥ TAI TV, like I've said twice already) and the Sherwood! podcast. I also love shoes. Converse, to be exact. THEY ARE THE BEST. Last I checked, I have 20+ pairs? They're my guilty pleasure [i came here to make you dance tonight, I don't care about my guilty pleasure for you. I also love the guilty pleasure dance majorly. FUN!] and I know the converse website like the back of my hand. Actually, I probably know it better.
I act. I'm into musical theatre, and I'm getting into drama as much as I can now since I doubt I'll be doing any after I graduate high school. I'm also still kind of a florida girl, [lived there for 5 years] so I swim when I can. But as much as I love chicago, it's so fucking cold, that's pretty much neverr. I eat like a pig on speed and I really don't give a crap about it. I also love nerdapalooza [aka scholastic bowl. You haven't lived until you've gone to a meet. They're hilarious.] and I'm kind of sort of a movie buff.
I'm one sarcastic mothertrucker and don't you forget it. I'm really not that mean though, so I won't bite. Much. I overuse the phrase bite me but I actually won't be sinking my mandibles into you anytime soon. Unless you're Tom Higgenson. *Hate* him. But if you like him, that's cool.
And I'm gna stop typing now, because daaaamn I've written way too much. Congratulations if you have enough of an attention span to get to this point; give yourself a cookie or something. haha.
